HENDRICK, Mary Ellen (nee Kelly)Surrounded by her family and closest friends, Mary Ellen peacefully passed away on Thursday April 5, 2012 at the age of 64. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband and partner of 42 years, Bob; her devoted children Scott (Karina), Shannon, Erin, Breanna and Todd. Nana will be fondly remembered by her grandson Aidan, who put a smile on her face like no one else. Mary Ellen, daughter of the late Elmer and Regina Kelly, will also be lovingly remembered by her brother Francis (Eileen), her mother-in-law; Mary Hendrick and family; Catherine, Janice (Joe), Dianne, Tom (Alex) and Jim (Angie), her best friends Eva and Caroline (along with many others), all her nieces and nephews, and the many people whose lives she has touched. She was the best homemaker, Mom, Nana and friend that anyone could ask for, and she will be missed terribly by all of us. Special thanks to Carly, Danielle and all the staff at the Civic Hospital ICU for their care and compassion in such a difficult time. Family and friends may call at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes on Monday April 9, 2012 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 2015 River Road on Tuesday April 10, 2012 at 1:00PM, with a reception to follow at the Osgoode Legion. Interment will be at a later date.
