JACKSON, Mary Elizabeth McBride, 80 of Dade City, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014 in Dade City under the care of HPH Hospice. She was born July 10, 1934 in Enterprise, FL to George E. and Mary C. Carrow McBride, a longtime area family of Enterprise, now Melbourne. She was a retired Cryptologist and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Mary was preceded in death by her parents: George E. McBride, Mary C. Carrow McBride; siblings: Jack McBride, Moody McBride, Joyce McBride Taylor. She is survived by 2 sons: Marine Gunnery Sergeant James R. and spouse Melissa Jackson , Michael M. and spouse Abigail R. Jackson; 3 grandchildren; also Peggy Longuil, Bill Jackson; and many other close family and friends. The family will receive friends for viewing from 1:00-2:30pm, Saturday September 20th at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. Military honors will be performed at 2:30, funeral service to follow. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or those that wish may make donations in her memory to HPH Hospice.
