DALY-BURNS, Mary Elizabeth Isabella "Kit" "Together Again" November 18, 1934 April 18, 2006 Born in Victoria, BC; pre-deceased by her parents Jack and Bella Hawthorne and by her husband Douglas William Burns in 2004. Survived by her son Ron Arsenault (Gail), granddaughters Kassandra and Holly, brother Jack (Rosemary), nephews John (Mary Helen), Ross (Marie-Josee), great-niece Amber, numerous extended family members and friends. Kit was employed by the Royal Bank of Canada, 1953-1968; then went hobby farming (13 acres) in rural Saanich. In 1985 she moved to Esquimalt where she met Doug. She was a member of Miriam Temple #2 Daughters of the Nile, Queen City Chapter #5 Order of the Eastern Star, Royal Canadian Legion, Esquimalt Dockyard Branch #172, R.C.L. Esquimalt Seniors Group. Kit asks that we remember her as a pretty good old girl with a great sense of humour and that we miss her for a day or two. We would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to Drs. D. Carroll, G. McLean, A. Ross; the Home and Community Care Team and the Palliative Response Team for their care and support.
