She was born March 31, 1914 in Montgomery County, TN, daughter of Jim Rye and Elizabeth Baggett Rye. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Burney Harris. A celebration of her life will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Willie Lyle and Bro. Ernie Arnold officiating. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, and from 8 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. She was a member of Griffins Chapel Church. Survivors include two sons, Clayton Harris and James (J.B.) Harris; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ricky Harris, Ricky Harris II, Marty Harris, Kenny Harris, Carroll Lee Parker and Randall Henson.
