BOWMAN, Mary - Peacefully at Central Place in Owen Sound, on Wednesday evening, June 18th, 2008. Mary Elizabeth Bowman (nee Hall), of Owen Sound, in her 97th year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Clifford Bowman. Loving mother of Marie Petch, of Owen Sound. Loving grandmother of Brian Petch and his wife, Catherine, of Richmond Hill and Terry Petch and his wife, Nancy, of Oakville and great-grandmother of Harris and Andrea Petch. Mary will be sadly missed by her brother, Allen Hall and his wife, Mary, of Hanover, her sister-in-law, Anna Hall, of Owen Sound and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Euphemia Hall; her brother, Earl Hall; her sisters, Lillian Trelford (Lorne) and Ruth Bailey (Ross): her son-in- law, John Petch; her infant granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Petch. Mary was a member of the Owen Sound Chapter #94 of the Eastern Star. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to all the staff at Central Place for the loving and compassionate care that Mary received during the six years that she called Central Place, her home. It was very evident how much you cared for her in the last final weeks. Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 - 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario, N4K-3X8 (519-376-7492) on Friday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and one hour prior to service. A Funeral Service for Mary Bowman will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, June 21st, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ralph Schmidt officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound.
