SALUDA, NC-- Mary Elizabeth Gregory Hall departed this life on November 10, 2006 at Autumn Care Nursing Home in Saluda, NC. Born on October 4, 1922 in Landrum ,SC, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Mary Davis Gregory. She was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church in Campobello, SC.She leaves to cherish fond memories a daughter, Christine Hall Pilgrim of Tryon, NC; three sons, Thomas Earl Hall (Marilyn), Marvin Eugene Hall of Landrum, SC, John Franklin Hall of Campobello, SC; a dear sister-in-law, Pearl Gregory of Lexington Park, MD; Billy Johnson, reared in the home; eighteen grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She also leaves two devoted friends, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Simmons, an a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hall, Sr.; two daughters, Sarah An and Patricia Ann Hall; one son, Robert Lee Hall; and one brother, John Richard Gregory.Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 3:00 PM at Mountain View Baptist Church.
