She worked 25 years for General Motors in LaGrange IL. retiring to Springfield in 1988. She volunteered at Springfield Community Blood Center for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her first husband Vernon Wright and her second husband Harold Carroll. She is survived by a brother Kenneth Blackburn and wife Erma, a brother Luther Blackburn and wife Florence and a sister Bonnie Reeves. A step daughter Yawana Hamisak and husband Pat and Tereesa Post and husband Jim. Ten nieces and nephews.Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday February 20, 2011 in Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Visitation will from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. before services. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Gideons International P.O. box 244 Kimberling City, MO. 65686
