ANDERSON, Mary Elise (Clark)Died peacefully of natural causes on December 21, 2011 in New Castle, KY at the age of 92. Elise was married to James R. Anderson in 1943. She attended Ohio Wesleyan University, where she joined Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She was an enthusiastic artist, seamstress and pianist, and sang in Sweet Adeline's and church choirs for many years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, PEO, and the board for the "Beautification of Nashville." Having received many awards as a real estate agent in Nashville for 40 years, she retired at age 83 and moved to Madison, IN with her husband. Elise will be greatly missed by many friends; her 4 children, Sue Morgan, David Anderson, Debbie Gish and Jo Nielsen, their spouses; her 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Her personal faith was demonstrated by her acts of kindness, love, and acceptance of all people, and she modeled independence her entire life. A family Memorial Service is yet to be arranged.
