CLEARY, Mary Elaine. Is united in heaven with God and her family. August 9, 1918 - April 3, 2008. After a brief illness. Predeceased by her husband Jim and her parents JA Lapres, Hilda Lapres and her brothers Arthur and Farrell. Loving Aunt to all her nephews and nieces and all her great nephews and nieces. Elaine loved her family and all her life long friends. Elaine contributed to the lives of all those that knew her Elaine loved the Arts, Travel, Politics, fashion and meeting new friends. Elaine was a strong advocate for her country during her overseas postings in diplomatic service. Additionaly she was an early leader in rehabilitaion and convalescent medicine in Montreal. Her family and friends and all those who were fortunate to know her will miss her. A memorial service will be held in Oakville, Ontario on Saturday, April 5, 2008 with a memorial mass at Asencion of Our Lord Parish in Montreal on April 22 at 5 p.m. Elaine will be buried at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery in Montreal
