-->Mary Effie Davis Spartanburg, SC-- Mary Effie Davis, 86, of 425 South Church Street, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Regional Hospice Home after a long illness. A native of Union County, she was the widow of Bernard Davis and the daughter of the late Fred and Cohatus Long Lindsay. She was of the Jehovah's Witness faith. Ms. Davis was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She leaves to cherish fond memories a host of nieces and nephews.
