PHELPS - Mary Edwards, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday (December 13, 2014) at Clifton Springs Hospital.Friends are welcome to visit the family on Saturday (January 10, 2015) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Phelps American Legion, 1346 State Route 96. A time for sharing and prayers will be held at Noon.It is requested that memorial donations be made to the Upstate New York Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 1000 Elmwood Avenue, Suite 900, Rochester, N.Y., 14620.Mary was a very kind and giving Lady!She is survived by her daughter, Joanne (Tony Handy) Jarlenski of Rochester; son, Matthew "Mike' Bruinix of Canandaigua; two grandsons, Ben and Joe Jarlenski; two sisters, Rose Settanni of Geneva, and Ruth Bonavia of Geneva: her beloved dog Dina; several nieces, nephews cousins and many friends. She was preceded by two brothers and one sister. Funeral arrangements have been made with the Cheney Funeral Home, 70 Main Street, Phelps.
