Lee Road, widow of Charles William Edwards, died November 25, 2013 at National Health Care.A native of Laurens County, daughter of the late Thomas Rufus and Ila Owens Stephens, she was a retired employee of Carolina Blouse and a member of Edwards Road Baptist Church.Surviving are a son, Charles Stephen Edwards and his wife, Paula of Greer; one granddaughter, Shannon Edwards Fowler and her husband, John; one great-granddaughter, Madison Shea McMahon; and five brothers, James Stephens of Hickory, North Carolina, R.W. Stephens and Gene Stephens both of Taylors, Charles Stephens and Ronnie Stephens both of Greer. Mrs. Edwards was predeceased by one brother, Rev. Paul Stephens and five sisters, Rachel Burns, Jeanette Reeves, Alice Elrod, Sara Tollison, and Helen Howard.Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Gene Owenby. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.Visitation will be held 12:45-1:45 p.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary.The families are at their respective homes.Memorials may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship, P.O.
