WILSON Mary E. Wilson, age 84, of Fairfield, a retired executive assistant at the Bridgeport Metal Goods Company, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2006 at the Carolton Chronic and Convalescent Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Fred and Margaret (Winn) Wilson, she had been a Fairfield resident for the last 25 years. Earlier in her career she held positions of legal assistant at the McPadden & Sauer Law Firm and executive assistant at the Warner Company in Bridgeport. She was a former member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Ladies Guild. Survivors include a brother, Peter J. Wilson of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 10 a.m. meeting directly at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Fairfield. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday (Today) from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.
