WILLIAMS, Mrs. Mary E., a resident of Montgomery, AL, died on Sunday, February 17, 2002 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. from Southside Church of Christ with Brother Wesley officiating. Interment will follow in Montgomery Memorial Cemetery with E.G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Her son, Bruce Williams, preceded her in death. Her husband, Lavughn Williams, Sr. of Montgomery, AL survives her. Also surviving her are: two daughters, Belinda Jones of Montgomery, AL and Regina (Joseph) Chase, Great Mills, MD; sons, Lavughn Williams, Jr., Montgomery, AL and Kenneth (Loretta) Williams, Charlotte, NC; sisters, Rochelle Ingram and Bennye (Dan) Wilson; brother, George Lockett, all of Montgomery, AL; granddaughters, Tecumsia (Lyrone) Steed, Sr., Birmingham, AL, Alexis Jones, Montgomery, AL and Kia Williams, Charlotte, NC; grandsons, Derrick (Tania) Williams, Charlotte, NC and Deron Chase, Great Mills, MD; a great-grandson, Lyrone Steed, Jr., Birmingham, AL; a great-granddaughter, Ashley Williams, Atlanta, GA; Jordan Dion Williams, Charlotte, NC; mother-in-law Janie B. Williams, Lithonia, GA; sisters-in-law, Janie R. (Parchu) Chrisie, Shelia Williams, Pontiac, MI, Susie Williams, Chicago, IL, Mary Alice Williams, Portia Williams and Margaret Williams, all of Pontiac, MI; brothers-in-law, Wilbert Williams, Spokane, WA, Willie G. Williams (Glenda), Tuscumbia, AL, Thomas (Virginia) Williams, Pontiac, MI and Nathaniel (Ann) Williams, Lithonia, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to services.
