WALLINGFORD - Mary E. Reynolds Petrosky, 81, of Sorrento Rd., Wallingford, died, Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at Miller Memorial Community in Meriden. She was the beloved wife of the late L. Kenneth Petrosky. She was born in Meriden, March 23, 1927, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Potts Reynolds, and had been employed by the Meriden Credit Union. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Resurrection and a member of the Wallingford Senior Center. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, with whom she resided, Judith M. and William S. Celata Sr. of Wallingford; her son and daughter-in-law, Gary L. and Marie Petrosky of Meriden; her three grandchildren, William S. Celata Jr., Jayme E. Celata, and Katherine Petrosky; her adopted grandson, Jeff Lawrence; a special friend, Marilyn Noyes; and several nieces and nephews. Her family wishes to express their gratitude to the Miller Memorial staff for the loving care they gave their mom during her illness. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 4 until 7 p.m. in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from The Wallingford Funeral Home when the funeral cortege will proceed to Church of the Resurrection, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Meriden. www.wallingfordfh.com.
