CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. Mary E. Rafferty Miller, 73, of Coral Springs, formerly of Albany, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2003. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Zinzow Rafferty. Mary and her husband Harry, moved to Florida in 1977 with their youngest daughters. She enjoyed cooking, dancing and taking a chance on a lotto ticket or slot machine. Her wonderful sense of humor will be missed by all. She was predeceased in 1999 by her husband, Harry S. Miller. She is the beloved mother of Donna Miller, Joyce Aldous, Lynn Charlas and Kathleen Platt. She is the grandmother of Jason Reittinger, Adam Aldous, Amanda Swiastyn, Janelle Platt, Aubrey Platt and Dylan Brent; great-grandmother of Zachary Swiastyn; sister of Doris Valerio, Charles Rafferty, Paul Rafferty, Joseph Rafferty and William Rafferty. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Her passing leaves an empty place in our hearts. Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 9:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Avenue). Interment will be in Our Lady Help of Christian Cemetery, Glenmont.
