Funeral services for Mary E. Martin, 85, Collinwood, Tenn., will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Shackelford Chapel in Collinwood, with Jerry Garner and David Love officiating. Interment will follow in McGlamery Cemetery, with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge.Visitation will be Monday, April 4, 2005, 1-9 p.m., and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until services at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood.Pallbearers will be Stacy Holt, Michael Bratcher, Randy Robbins, David Brewer, DeWayne Brewer and Johnny Holt.Mrs. Martin, a native of Wayne County, died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro. She was a daughter of the late William Chester and Frances Elizabeth Stooksberry Newborn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mahon Marton; brothers, Sinclair, Elmer and Leonard Newborn; sister, Ethel Stooksberry. Mrs. Martin was a member of the Church of Christ, a homemaker and was retired from Angelica.Survivors include sons, James Ellis Martin, Robert E. Lee Martin and Tom J. Martin, all of Collinwood; daughters, Annie Lou Lineberry, Huntsville, Betty Ruth Martin and Mattie Frances Hickerson, both of Collinwood, Mary Nettie Sanderson, Mae Nell Daniel and Helen Daniel, all of Iron City, Hetty Marie Roberts, Waynesboro; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Pearl Holt, Collinwood.
