Mary Ellen Malone, 79, Russellville, Ala., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.She was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of Grace Baptist Church.The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with Brother Wayne Boyles and Brother Jim Lumpkin officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery at Mt. Star. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.Survivors include children, Rosemary Godsey and husband, Tommy, Bobby Glenn Malone and Sheila Davis, all of Russellville, Malinda Jean Watkins and husband, Dwayne, Phil Campbell, Patricia Mae Pope, Lewisburg, Tenn., Roy Lee Malone and wife, Carla, Judy Renea Taylor, Tony Malone and wife, Deanna, Timmy Malone and wife, Amy, all of Russellville, Debbie Hester and husband, Roger, Killen, Stacey Hamilton and husband, Ron, Moulton; sister, Annie Marie Kirk, Evansville, Ind.; special lifelong friend, Margaret Fowler, Rockford, Ill.; 30 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; niece, Linda Odom, along with numerous other nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Eric Godsey, Michael Malone, Shannon Bray, Jason Sparks, Johnny Malone, Jonathan Riley, Anthony Malone and Jacob Malone.Honorary bearers will be all the grandsons.She was preceded in death by husband, Bobby Gene Malone, and parents, John Lee and Rosa Ella Williams.Pinkard Funeral Home will be directing.To sign guestbook, visit our website, pinkardfh.com.
