Mary E. Leal (9/25/33-3/5/10) formerly of Binghamton Mary E. Leal passed away on March 5, 2010. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Robert H. Leal of Marathon, NY; their children, Charles D. Neil and wife Cathy, Kitty J. Thurston, Michael E. Neil, David A. Neil, John E. Leal, Kanna A. Leal and Alexander E. Leal; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald and Lila Hart of Binghamton, Janet Biviano of Syracuse, Michael and Margaret Cibulsky of VA, Donald and Virginia Schramm of NJ; several grandchildren; mother-in-law; nieces; nephews; cousins and a great-granddaughter, Kylan Smith. A member of the East Side Congregational Church. Graduated from North High School. Worked at Binghamton Psychiatric Center for 20 years, from which she retired in 1990. She loved art and crafts, her home and nature. She also was proud to be an American. A funeral service will be held at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson Street, Binghamton, on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Shea Funeral Home on Monday from 4-7 p.m.
