CARTER Mary E. (Oldham), 86, of Whitman, April 28, wife of the late John P. Carter; mother of Francis S. Carter of New Hampshire, David E. Carter of Carver, John P. Carter of Whitman, Anne Burbine of Bourne and Elizabeth Corliss of Buzzards Bay; sister of Walter Oldham of South Boston and Alice Schultz of Florida; also 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Paul Oldham. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, May 2, at 9:15 a.m. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle), Whitman. Followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in the Holy Ghost Church, School Street, Whitman. Visiting hours Monday, May 1, 2-4 and 7-9.
