Mary E. Brown, of 113 B Mount Zion Ave., died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002. She was a daughter of Estell Anthony and the late Dewhitt Anthony. Survivors: Daughters, Mary Lee Thomason, Harriett Means, Gwendolyn Hackney and Cheryl Brown, all of Greenville, and Delores Gibbons of Providence, R.I.; sons, Johnny L. Brown Jr. and Wade E. Brown of Providence, and James A. Brown of Hudson, N.H.; a sister, Mary J. Bowens of Greenville; 47 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
