OWENS Mary Duggan Owens died October 27, 2001 in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Nanicoke, PA, she was a longtime resident of Jacksonville and a member of San Jose Catholic Church, the Catholic Womens Club and the Atresians Club. She is survived by her son, Robert Richard Duggan of Jacksonville, FL, niece, Kathleen Ahern-Gray of Evanston, IL, 6 step-children, Diane Owens of Prescot, AZ, Joanne (Jim) Bradshaw of E. Peoria, IL, Judy (Jim) Melcher of Bloomington, IL, Rose Owens of Salem, OR, Suzanne Owens of Bloomington, IL and Mike Owens of Bloomington, IL and 12 grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00A.M. Wednesday, October 31, 2001 in San Jose Catholic Church with Msgr. Mortimer Danaher and Msgr. John J. Lenihan officiating. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. The Vigil service will be held at 6:30P.M. Tuesday, October 30, 2001 in the church with Fr. James Moss officiating.
