AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Mary Doleres Beard Wright, age 50, loving wife to Mr. Anthony Wright of 2937 Meadowbrook Dr. passed away on Monday August 7, 2006 at Dwight D. Eisenhower Medical Center, Fort Gordon, GA. Her funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, August 12 at Pleasant Grove CME Church with Rev. Walter Clayton, Officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Lois, as she was affectionately known, was a native of Lincoln County and employed at Castleberry in Augusta, Ga. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Anthony Wright of Augusta, GA; her son, Maurice (Tracy) Beard of Martinez, GA, a step daughter, Frankie C. Wright of Augusta, GA; her mother, Doris Blackwell of Lincolnton, GA; her father, Robert Sym Freeman of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Marty (Cassandra) Beard of Lincolnton, GA and John Beard of Augusta, GA; six sisters, Ann Davis, Glenda Blackwell, Gloria Blackwell all of Augusta, GA, Len Blackwell of Newport News, VA, Annie F. Freeman of Atlanta, GA and Beverly Harris of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren, Maiya Beard and Morgan Beard. The family will receive friends tonight at the funeral home from 7 to 8.
