Mary Dennis Gonzales September 8, 1944 - August 24, 2013 Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was the second of six children born to Benjamin and Margaret Dennis in Garden City, New York. She attended Marymount College in New York and spent her career in pharmaceutical regulatory and quality control. She and her husband Robert retired to Key Largo and enjoyed boating, reading, and visiting with family and friends. Mary is survived by her husband Robert Gonzales and son Robert J. Gonzales, both residing in Key Largo and her daughter Kathleen Gonzales Goodbread and her husband Lawrence Goodbread of Naples, Florida. A memorial service for family and friends is scheduled for Thursday August 29 from 5-9pm at Scarano Funeral Home in Pembroke Pines, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to where Mary enjoyed volunteering: Habitat for Humanity of the Upper Keys and Friends of Key Largo Library.
