LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, at Imani Temple No. 49 for Mary Delores Ledet-Lee, 54, who died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, at Maison de Lafayette Nursing Home.Interment will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery in Broussard, La.The Rev. Gregory Williams will officiate at the services.Born March 31, 1950, she was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend.She is survived by her husband and companion of 14 years, Alcide Lee; mother, Alberta Williams, of Cade, La.; four daughters, Katina Ledet, Niccola Ledet, Laura Ledet and Joleen Ledet, all of Lafayette; one son, Bruce Ledet, of Lafayette; seven sisters, Doris (Joe) Alexander, of St. Martinville, La., Iris Charles, of Houston, Texas, Joyce Charles, of Lafayette, La., Bonnie (Junius) Senegal, of Breaux Bridge, La., Brenda (Gerard) Malveaux, of St. Martinville, La., Susan Walker, of Cade, La., and Shirley (Garlin) Landry, of Port Arthur, Texas; two brothers, Dalton (Ann) Williams and Carroll (Shirley) Williams, both of Cade, La.; four grandchildren, David Ledet, Tiana Ledet, Tré Filer and Ahmyri Willis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Williams.Visitation will be observed from 7 a.m. until time of services at Imani Temple No. 49 Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005.Syrie Funeral Home of Lafayette is in charge of arrangements.
