Mary Dan Ingram Coleman Miller died at her residence in Savannah, Ga., on October 31, 2009, under the care of Hospice Savannah. Mary Dan's first husband was James Coleman, the first editor of the Bulloch Herald. She retired from the Glynn County Schools after 25 years of service. She was honored by the Georgia General Assembly of Georgia and in person by President Harry Truman in Washington, D.C., for founding the Driver Education Program in Georgia.
