BEAL, MARY COLLEEN, 79, of Louisville, peacefully went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2007 at the Baptist Hospital East. She was a retired teacher's assistant with Frayser Elementary School, and a member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church, where she had been a Sunday school teacher for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Birdie Oldham; her loving husband, Bob Beal; two sons, Robert and Bobby Beal; and a brother, Emory Oldham. She is survived by her sons, Mike and Steve Beal; daughters, Linda Woodbeal and Laura Abell; a brother, Gerald "Cash" Oldham; sisters, Darvel Renn, Shirley Goossen, Norma Dailey and Lee Heath; grandchildren, David "#1 grandson" Beal, Jeremy "Darlin" Abell and Suzanne Story. Her funeral service is noon Thursday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy., with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville.
