<!-- FH = The Wood Mortuary, Inc. -->Mary Ellen Lindsey Walker Coleman, 94, widow of Lee Coleman, died August 22, 2010 at The Cottages at Brushy Creek (Azalea Cottage).A native of Spartanburg, daughter of the late John and Fannie Pearson Lindsey, she was a retired employee of Norris Manufacturing and a member of East North Street Baptist Church. Her first husband was the late J. Ambuss Walker, Sr.Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Mamon and Lucy Walker of Greenville, Jones A. and Shirley Walker of Greer, and Kenneth and Ruby Walker of Greenville; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.A special thanks to her caregivers at The Cottages at Brushy Creek (Azalea Cottage). Mrs. Coleman was predeceased by a sister Frances Williams and a great-granddaughter, Brielle Watkins.Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at East North Street Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Steve Stroup, Rev. Cletus Lynch, and Rev. Ralph May. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church.The families are at their respective homes.Memorials may be made to East North Street Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 4108 E.
