JOHNSON, Mary Cathryn, 70, of Lake Placid, FL, died Saturday afternoon December 6, 2014, at her home. She was in the com-panionship of her daugh-ters. Mary was the daugh-ter of Ms. Mildred Trim and Elmer Peters, born Novem-ber 16, 1944, in Fort Jack-son, SC. She was a life-long Lake Placid resident. Mary worked as a case manager for Nu-Hope, She enjoyed gardening, the beach, and her German Shepherd dogs. She was a Southern Baptist by faith. Mary is survived by her daughters, Conya Leandro (Richard), Sonya Johnson (Greg), Zonya Drews (Jeff), Brandi Johnson (Donivan); and she was blessed with two grandchildren, Heath Johnson and Ethan Cooper. The family had private ser-vices with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery yesterday. Funer-al arrangements were un-der the loving devotion of MICHAEL A.
