Mary Catherine Duff Anderson Mrs. Mary Catherine Duff Anderson, age 84, died Saturday May 8, 2010, in Monticello, Florida. Funeral Services will be Monday May 10, 2010, at 2 p.m. EDT in the First United Methodist Church, Monticello, Florida, and visitation will be Monday, one hour prior to the services at the church.Interment will follow in Roseland Cemetery Monticello, Fla. Mary Catherine Duff Anderson was born June 6, 1925 in Lebanon, Virginia. Ms. Anderson was a graduate of Brenau College for Women located in Gainesville Georgia.Upon graduation she moved to Deland Florida where she taught school, also later teaching in Greenville Florida. Ms. Anderson married Ike Anderson and relocated to Monticello, Fla., where she raised her family. Mrs. Anderson is survived by brothers, Samuel L Duff of Houston, Texas, Joseph E. Duff of Atlanta, Ga.; three sons, Isham L. Anderson II of Monticello, Fla., Joseph Duff Anderson of Orlando and Sheffield Ayers Anderson of Monticello; three grandchildren, Samantha Anderson of Orlando, Taylor Anderson of Pensacola, and Joseph Anderson of Orlando.Ms. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, attorney and Mayor of Monticello Isham L. Anderson, her father, the Honorable Joseph E. Duff and mother, Sarah A. Duff of Lebanon, Virginia.
