Mary Carlson August 31, 1928 - June 15, 2011 Norwich - Mary (Janis) Carlson, 82, wife of the late Lawrence "Lonnie" Carlson of 85 Lafayette St., Norwich, died Wednesday morning at Harrington Court in Colchester. Born in Montville on August 31, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Rose (Pasemik) Janis. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a mortgage supervisor at the former Norwich Saving Society. On October 17, 1953 at St. John Church in Montville, she was united in marriage to Lawrence "Lonnie" Carlson who died December 7, 2010. Surviving is her sister Ann Jutkiewicz of Norwich, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 11 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, 52 West Town St., Norwichtown, meeting at the church. Interment to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Uncasville. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations are asked to be made in her memory to the charity of the donors choice. Arrangements by Labenski Funeral Home.
