->Klein, Mary C.Ithaca: Mary C. Klein, 87, passed away August 22, 2011 at the Beechtree Care Center. She was born in Ithaca on October 3, 1923, daughter of the late Howard and Anna Mullen. She was retired from the Ithaca City School District where she had worked for many years. Mary is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and David Benson; her daughter-in-law, Sally Klein; her grandchildren, Jeff (Erika) Benson, Michelle Benson (Brian Kreowski), Erin King and Chris (Brandy) Besemer; and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Ruth Pearson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles; and son, C.J. Funeral services will be celebrated by Rev. Leo Reinhardt on Saturday, August 27th, at 2 p.m. at the Bangs Funeral Home. Friends may call prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
