ALLEN Mary C Albright Allen, age 93, of Branford, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in her home. Mrs. Allen was born in Bridgeport, and was a longtime area resident before moving to Branford. She hosted her own radio show in Bridgeport in the early 30's. A member of the Nichols Country Players, she was also a longtime member of the Ladies Guild at St. Catherine's Church. She was predeceased by her son, James H. Allen and her husband, Donald C. Allen Sr. Survivors include her son, Donald C. Allen Jr. and his wife, Deborah of North Branford; her daughters, Judy A. Walker and her husband, Fred of Clinton, and Deborah Kuchinski of Bridgewater; her sister, Jean D. Fay of Bridgeport; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
