Mary Bennett Sullivan Mary Bennett Sullivan, 69, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Friday at Brewer Lake Baptist Church in Lafayette County, with burial at Day Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. EDT today at Beggs Funeral Home Apalachee Parkway Chapel (850-942-2929) and following the service Friday at the church fellowship hall.Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308. Mary was born in Lafayette County and had resided in Jacksonville before moving to Tallahassee 10 years ago. She was a member of Thomasville Road Baptist Church, the Young at Heart Choir and the Caring Couples Sunday School Class.She retired as a registrar for Florida Community College in Jacksonville. Survivors include her husband, Marvin D. Sullivan; two sons, Michael Bennett and Derek Bennett, both of Interlachen; two stepsons, Mike Sullivan of Fort Miles and Dean Sullivan of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Russell Horton of Jacksonville and John D. Horton of Mayo; three sisters, Juanita Drake of Dowling Park and Allie Jane Harper and Nonie Mae Bell, both of Mayo; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Horton, and a brother, Ernest Horton.
