Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Mary Bell Miller, age 94, of Cleveland. Mrs. Miller passed away Monday, May 7, 2012.Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2012, from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mike Irvin, the Rev. Tony Rogers and the Rev. W.A. Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.Mrs. Miller was born in White County on Feb. 24, 1918, to the late William Madison Crane and Mattie Hulsey Crane. She was a homemaker and well known for her delicious homemade pies and cakes.She was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church and in addition to her parent, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Moody and Gene Miller; as well as her six brothers, sister, two grandsons and daughter.Survivors include her daughter, Lois Taylor, Demorest; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Paulette Moody, Commerce, Clyde and Elaine Moody, Cleveland, Clarence and Jeanine Moody, Clermont, and James and Margaret Moody of Demorest; sister, Lessie Pethel of Gainesville; as well as 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.Condolences may be sent to the family of Mrs. Miller by visiting www.alexander-funeral.com.Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland, 706-865-1500, in charge of arrangements
