Mary Barrett of Mt. Kisco died peacefully on February 8, 2001. She was 100. Mrs. Barrett was born November 24, 1900 in County Longford Ireland to John and Ellen Barrett (nee Murtagh). She was employed by NY Telephone Company in Mt. Kisco for many years. A member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, a member of St. Francis Church and the Altar Rosary Society. Her husband, the late Timothy J. Barrett, predeceased her in 1934. Beloved mother of Mary Ellen "Marie" and Timothy J. Barrett. Predeceased by 11 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving is a sister-in-law Rita Murtagh of County Longford Ireland and several nieces and nephews. Cherished grandmother of Mary Barrett Dwyer, Timothy Joseph III and Kevin Nicholas Barrett of Texas. Also survived by 7 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Oelker & Cox Funeral Home Inc. on Sun. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial Mon. 10:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church.
