Lineville - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary B. Jackson, 84, of Lineville, will be Thursday, August 18, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with The Rev. John Luckie officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashland City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville this evening, August 17, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. and until service time on Thursday morning. Mrs. Jackson passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011, at the Lineville Health and Rehabilitation Center. A native and life-long resident of Clay County, she was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Protestant Bible Church. Mrs. Jackson is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Nichols, of Ashland and Myra Character (Cook), of Lineville; plus a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Crawford and Chula Smith Crawford; her husband, Walter B. Jackson; a brother, Mack Crawford and an infant brother, S.J. Crawford.
