WARSAW – Mrs. Mary Anne Stetz Williams, 98, formerly of 327 Wildwood Ave. in Salamanca, died Thursday (Nov. 1, 2012). at East Side Nursing Home in Warsaw.Born on Aug. 13, 1914, in Oil City, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Saul) Stetz. She was married in St. Bonaventure Church, in Allegany, on June 30, 1934, to William H. Williams, who predeceased her on Jan. 12, 1995.She attended St. Elizabeth's and St. Bonaventure elementary schools.Mrs. Williams was a member of the former St. Patrick's Church in Salamanca. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, flowers, cooking, baking, and being with family, especially her grandchildren.Surviving are: two sons, Richard (Judith) Williams of Troy, Mont., Dr. James (Harriet) Williams of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Judith Bryant of Perry, Mary Oliver of Salamanca; one brother, John (Joann) Stetz of Waterloo; one sister, Ceil Pleakis of Allegany; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Christy Williams Dirkes; two brothers, Michael Stetz and Joseph Stetz; one sister, Helen Freeman; sons-in-law, Ronald Bryant and Glenn Oliver.Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Peace Parish on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc.
