MERIDEN - Mary Anne Williams, 83, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, at Yale-New Haven Hospital.She was born in Meriden on April 21, 1927. Mrs. Williams graduated from Brown University. She retired from Lyman Hall High School after 35 years and served as chair of the english department.She is survived by a sister, Felicia Edwards; two nieces, Kimberly Yonkers and Cindy Tomhave; and three nephews, Frank Yonkers, John and Michael Williams.A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, Aug. 28, at 11 a.m., at St. Stanislaus Church, 82 Akron St., Meriden. Burial to follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, is in charge of arrangements. www.jferryfh.com
