Mary-Anne (Grosso) Andrews, age 57, of Brockton, MA, died unexpectedly, Friday, June 24, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of David A. Andrews of 34 years. Born Thursday, March 11, 1954 in Brockton, MA she was the daughter of the late Esterino and Katherine (Brady) Grosso. Mary-Anne was a 1972 graduate of Brockton High School and earned her Bachelors degree from Bridgewater State College and her Masters from Cambridge College. She was a life long resident of Brockton and taught most of her career at South Jr. High School in Brockton. She enjoyed reading and making jewelry. In addition to her husband David she is survived a daughter Erin LaBelle and her husband Jeffrey of Middleboro; a son Ian Andrews and his wife Ellen of Abington; a sister Jean Grosso of Whitman; an aunt Claire Davock of West Bridgewater, two cousins Richard Davock of West Bridgewater and Mark Davock of Bridgewater; two sister-in-laws Jane Ghelfi and her husband Charles of Bridgewater and Lona Andrews of Randolph; a brother in law Roy Andrews and his wife Louise of West Bridgewater and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St., Brockton, MA. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gift may be given to the Mary-Anne Andrews Scholarship Fund c/o Harbor One Credit Union, 1601 Main St., Brockton, MA 02301.
