Funeral service for Ms. Mary Ann Peters, 39, of Sylacauga, will be Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Price and Rev. Freddie Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow in the Andrews Chapel UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 17, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home. Ms. Peters passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Coosa Valley Baptist Medical Center. She was born on March 10, 1972 in Alexander City, Alabama to Marion Abram McCain and Annie Lorene Smith Robinson. She was a member of The Sanctuary. Ms. Peters was a hard worker who spent time working at Advance Auto Parts in Alexander City, at Samlip as an Assembler for 2 years, and at Serra Honda Sylacauga as Parts Manager. She enjoyed drag racing, watching wrestling and loved her dogs, Pebbles and Tiny. She was a very understanding and forgiving wife and mother who loved her children and family very much. She is survived by her daughter, Samatha Lynn Peters of Hackneyville; son, James Patrick Peters of Hackneyville; sisters, Patti Nell Davis (Robert) of Alexander City and Laura Susan Talley (Glenn) of Sylacauga; brothers, Marion David McCain (Linda) of Opelika, Thomas Michael McCain (Diane) and Barry Lea McCain (Amanda) both of Kellyton; step-father, John Robinson of Hackneyville; great-uncle, Clifford Thornton (Glenda) of Hackneyville; and former husband and father of her children, Rickey Peters of Hackneyville.
