Mary Ann Miller, 87, Venice, died Aug. 6, 2004. She was born Aug. 12, 1916, in Easton, Pa., and came to Venice in 1979 from Monroeville, Pa. She lived in Scotland from 1963 to 1965. She graduated from Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in education. She taught for 25 years in schools in Maryland, Kentucky and Pennsylvania. She was a volunteer at Venice Hospital. She was an 18-year member of the Venice Yacht Club. She was a Rotary Ann. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Venice and a past zone leader at the church. She was a member of United Methodist Women. Survivors include her husband V.L. "Bud"; sons Richard Munro Jr. of Venetra, Pa., Robert G. Munro of Library, Pa., and Donald F. Munro of Egan, Minn.; a stepson, the Rev. James L. of Greenville, Pa.; a stepdaughter, Janet Voynick of Broadway, N.C.; and 11 grandchildren. A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Pennsylvania. Farley Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to Grace United Methodist Church of Venice Memorial Fund, 400 E.
