Mary Ann Casey of Pleasantville passed away on Saturday, December 22 after a year-long battle with cancer. She was 59 years old. Mary Ann is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, William, who is a former New York City Police Chief and Chief Investigator of the New York State Attorney General's Office and is a current Commissioner of Parole in New York State.She is also survived by her adoring children, William, a fourth-grade teacher at the Claremont School in Ossining, and Kimberly, Director of Community Education at St. Vincent's Hospital in Westchester and wife to Antony. Mary Ann cherished her role of grandmother to Kimberly's daughter Kathryn. Mary Ann treasured her close relationships with siblings James, William, John and Howard and sister Kathleen. Mary Ann was born on June 24, 1948 in Manhattan to Howard Edgar and Kathleen Rose Borck. She is a graduate of Cardinal Spellman and Good Counsel College. She was an accomplished homemaker, writer and photographer. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Wednesday and Thursday and funeral mass to be held at Holy Innocents Church in Pleasantville at 11:30 AM on Friday.
