Born in Pasadena, California on February 24, 1935, Mary Lynn Anderson moved to Springfield, Missouri in 1957 and soon after married Fred G. Anderson, Jr. They together celebrated 53 years of marriage on December 6th of this year.Mary and Fred enjoyed many friends through their participation in the Greater Ozarks' British Motoring Club and the Gateway Austin-Healey Club. Always vivacious and outgoing, she loved playing weekly card games and listening and supporting the many bands where Fred plays trumpet. Many of her daily activities revealed her dedication to helping and serving others. She loved her only daughter, Debbie, and her two grandchildren, Amanda and Adam. They were the source of much pride and joy in her life. Mary was a lover of life and all animals. The beauty of the outdoors gave her much joy and she loved her home with its location near the woods and lake. She is survived by her husband, Fred G. Anderson, Jr.; her daughter, Debbie Struble; her son-in-law, David Struble; her grandchildren, Amanda and Adam Struble; her sister, Chris Baer, her sister-in-law, Joan Covington; her nephews, Gary Anderson, Brent Anderson, Roger Hickey and Ed Hickey; her nieces, Lynnell Vassar and Linda Henderson. Mary will be GREATLY missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at 2:00pm at Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel, Springfield, Missouri. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday evening, January 2, 2012 from 7:00 - 8:00pm.
