HARTLEY, MARY ALICE, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2002 at the age of 90. She was born in Samson, Alabama on June 19, 1912. Mrs. Hartley grew up in Georgiana, Alabama and lived for many years in Dothan. She moved to Orlando, Florida in 1961 where she worshiped at Downtown Baptist Church. Mrs. Hartley was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Anderson Hartley; and two grandsons, Joseph Anderson Hartley III and Jefferson Carr Givens. She is survived by three children, Joseph Anderson Hartley, Jr. and his wife Elaine of Madison, Florida; Mary Carr Hartley Givens and her husband Kenneth of Opelika, Alabama, and Len Hartley and his wife Betty of Apopka, Florida. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at the Downtown Baptist Church at 11AM on November 30, 2002. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Graveside service will be held at the Magnolia Cemetery in Greenville, Alabama on December 3, 2002 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Downtown Baptist Church, 120 East Pine Street, Orlando, FL, 32801, or Seniors' Ministry of Lockhart Baptist Church, 7601 Edgewater Drive, Orlando, FL, 32810.
