February 3, 2004 Mary Alice (Northway) Baker, of Chicago, IL, and Jamesville, N.Y., passed away at her home in Spring Hill, FL, on February 3, 2004. She was a graduate of Jamesville-DeWitt High School and SUNY Binghamton. She was employed for 16 years at Mutual of New York in Syracuse and for 11 years at Liberty Mutual in Chicago. In April 1979, she and Robert D. Baker married in Syracuse. Mr. Baker predeceased her in January 1994. She was also predeceased by her mother Eileen in 1989. She is survived by her father Harry J. Northway of Jamesville; brother and wife, James and Trudy Northway of Manchester, TN; three sisters: Ellen (Robert) Mayer of Oneida and Catherine Westfall and Christine Simpson, both of Syracuse; two nieces; three stepchildren: Patty Robinson of Wisconsin, David Baker of Washington and Danny Baker of Kentucky; and several step-grandchildren. Services Wednesday February 11, 2004, at 10 a.m. at the Hall Funeral Home, 6033 Cherry Valley Road, LaFayette, NY. Spring burial at St. James Cemetery, Cazenovia. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. In her memory, contributions can be made to the Humane Society or charity of choice. HALL FUNERAL HOME
