Athens - Mary A. Jones, 91, of Athens, Ga., died Wednesday, March 21, 2007. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 2:00PM at Riverside Cemetery, Macon, Ga., with the Reverend Michael Williams officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Madison County Library, In Memory of Mary A. Jones, P. O. Box 38, Danielsville, GA 30633.Mrs. Jones, wife of the late Glenn Wilson Jones, was predeceased by two daughters, Virginia ìGingerî J. McNichols and Aldred J. Oxford. She was a retired Bibb County schoolteacher after 30 years of teaching. She was a volunteer at the Madison County Library and served on the Friendship Force in Macon and Riverdale. She was a member of Jones Chapel Methodist Church in Danielsville, Ga.Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Ronald Faulkner, of Colbert, GA; Grandchildren, Beverly O. Stuntz, Susan O. Varano, Kenneth H. McNichols, Leigh M. Hall, Brian McNichols, and Christopher A. Cholet; nine Great-grandchildren; Sons-in-law, Robert H. McNichols and Jerry H. Oxford.Hartís Mortuary, Macon, Ga., has charge of arrangements.
