Mary A. Jackson, 75, of Newark, N.J., passed away on Monday, Sept. 16, 2013. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 235 Seymour Ave., Newark, N.J. The viewing will be at 10 a.m., with service following at 11 a.m. Arrangements are by Drew Funeral Home. Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Cummings; brothers, Alonzo (Ruth) Borders, William Cummings; and son-in-law, Clyde Allen. Mary is survived by her son, Mustafa (Angela) Ameen; daughters, Rose (Jerome) Wilson, Mary Allen; and best friend, Lillian Moore. Mary loved her family, and she was a generous woman who influenced and touched the lives of many.
