BROOKLYN Mary Anne Hurley, 94, of Brooklyn, died Saturday, May 21, 2005 at Victory Memorial Hospital. Ms. Hurley was born in CloonLough BallinLough, County Roscommon, Ireland. She emigrated to the United States at the age of 16 and began nurse's training at the Brady Hospital in Albany. She then moved to New York City where she worked as a registered nurse at hospitals in Manhattan and Brooklyn and also as a private duty nurse until her retirement. Ms. Hurley was the daughter of the late John and Jane Hurley. She was predeceased by her brothers Patrick, Thomas, James, John, Edward and Philip Hurley. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, both in the U.S. and Ireland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10:30 in St. Patrick's Church, Central and Lake Avenues, Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home after 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
