->Garvey, Mary A. (Slavick)Formerly of Johnson City: Mary A. (Slavick) Garvey, 84, formerly of Johnson City, passed away Friday afternoon, June 22, 2012 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, John Garvey; her parents Peter and Susan Slavick; and four brothers. She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Harry Feldmanis, Binghamton, two brothers and one sister-in-law, Joseph Slavick, Castle Creek, NY, Albert and Joan Slavick, Maine, NY; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Mary was a member of St. James Church, Johnson City. The family wishes to thank South Tower 2 at Willow Point Nursing Home for their wonderful care. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Church, on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. Arrangements are by the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, NY.
